Step 1: Enough With The Babies Already


Step 1 of my ‘transformation’: stop having babies 😂


But seriously... I think back to a time when I was either

a.) trying to get pregnant

b.) pregnant

c.) nursing

d.) recovering,

and it spans almost 10 YEARS of my life #priorities

For almost a solid decade my focus, my drive, my WHY was my babies. Not how I felt in my skin. Not educating myself on how to optimize my nutrition. Not even getting enough sleep. My personal ‘top three’ didn’t even scratch the surface of pouring into myself as a person. And I am loud and proud about being 100% ok with that. Although I struggled at the time, in hindsight it was a conscious, temporary choice, and one that brought me my three greatest achievements in life; who are *still* my WHYs.... but just have a different impact on my priorities today. So my point is this: wherever you are, is perhaps exactly where you need to be.

BUT if you disagree with that statement then GREAT! Good news; you have the power to decide when it’s time to make a change. You get to choose! Isn’t that exhilarating!? But understand that with change, will come some degree of sacrifice, discomfort and a very intentional shift in your priorities over time. Want some more good news? In the context of my own personal wellness journey, less is definitely more.
